Recycle your pouches

We know how important it is to look after our planet by working reeeally hard to make our packaging easily recyclable.

That's why we're on a BIG journey to make all of our pouches fully recyclable and are working hard to find recyclable solutions for the rest of the range too.

Take a peek below at our easy peasy guide on how to recycle our packaging!

If your Ella's pouches have this green logo on, they're made from a new material which means you can pop them straight into your recycling bin at home.

Just remember to pop the cap back on first!

    recycle me in store

If your Ella's pouches or snack wrappers don't have this green logo on, that means we're still working really hard to make it recyclable at home.

In the meantime, you can search for your nearest 'soft plastics' collection point and drop them off on your next visit to your local supermarket.

    our journey to recyclable packaging

See where we've been so far on our journey to recyclable packaging and have a look at what is still to come...

    2023

We launched our first ever mono-material pouch, The Green One! This can now be popped in to normal recycling at home (remember to leave the cap on!)

    2024

Lots + lots of our pouch ranges moved into recyclable packaging in the UK, including Fruity First Tastes, Greek Yoghurts, Smoothie Fruits and Fruit + Veg Blends

    2025

More of our pouch ranges, like 3yrs+ Squishy Snacks, Baby Brekkie and our international products will switch to recyclable packaging. Yippeee!

    2027

We strive to make all of our veg + meals pouches and snack wrappers recyclable from home (until then, you can still recycle in stores!) We’re also working with the Flexible Plastics Fund to invest in kerbside collections across the UK.

more ways we're protecting the planet

We’re committed to making sure all our packaging is fully recyclable and as easy as possible to recycle too.

That's why we are proud to be members of the Flexible Plastics Fund and are working together with other brands to try and drive change across the industry to overcome the barriers to flexible recycling. The FPF are looking to find the best solutions for how all flexible packaging can be collected, sorted and recycled by 2027.
