Try these twirly whirly pots of yumminess!

The dates + cashews make a thick, gooey, caramel-y sauce. Yummmm!

    Ingredients

    • 40g / 1 1/2oz soft pitted dates
    • 30g/ 1oz cashew nuts
    • 1-2 tablespoons whole milk or milk of choice, plus extra if needed
    • Large pinch of ground cinnamon
    • Natural greek yogurt
    • Lightly toasted muffin or potato cakes, cut into fingers, to serve

    Method

    1. Put the dates and cashews in a heatproof bowl and pour over 2 tablespoons just-boiled water. Cover and leave to soak overnight, or for at least 2 hours
    2. Just before serving, put the dates, cashews and the soaking water in a mini food processor or blender. Add the milk and cinnamon and blend until smooth, adding a splash more milk if needed to give it a thick puree consistency
    3. For each serving, spoon some yogurt into a small breakfast bowl and top with the date mixture. Serve with fingers of lightly toasted muffin or potato cake
