Ingredients

- 30g/1oz rolled oats
- 100ml whole milk or milk of choice
- 1 small cooked carrot, roughly chopped
- 1 ripe juicy nectarine, halved, stoned and roughly sliced
- Large pinch of ground nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon ground mixed seeds (optional)
Method

- Tip the oats into a bowl, pour over the milk and stir until combined
- Place the cooked carrot and nectarine in a food processor or blender and blend until smooth. Stir the puree, nutmeg and ground seeds (if using) into the oats. Cover with clingfilm and place in the fridge overnight
- The next morning mash the oats slightly with the back of the spoon for a smoother consistency, if preferred, adding a splash more milk to loosen the oats if needed
