Ready in just 15 minutes, this cheesy chive pasta is really 'grate'.

    Ingredients

    • 50g/ 1 3/4oz dried orzo or other small pasta
    • 3 broccoli florets, cut into small pieces, plus extra, steamed until very tender, to serve
    • 30g/ 1oz frozen petits pois
    • 1/2 teaspoon snipped chives
    • 1 tablespoon cream cheese
    • 3-4 tablespoons baby's usual milk

    Method

    1. Cook the pasta in a saucepan of boiling water for 3 minutes, then add the broccoli and petits pois and cook for a further 4-5 minutes until everything is tender. Drain, reserving the cooking water
    2. Return the pasta, vegetables and 2 tablespoons of the reserved cooking water to the pan. Add the chives, cream cheese and 3 tablespoons of the milk and warm through slightly
    3. Using the back of the fork, mash the pasta and veg mixture, making sure you crush the peits pois well until smooth, adding the remaining milk if needed
    4. Alternatively, puree using a mini food processor or hand blender. Serve in bowls with extra steamed broccoli florets as finger food
