broc 'n' roll cheesy chive pasta

Ready in just 15 minutes, this cheesy chive pasta is really 'grate'.

Ingredients


- 50g/ 1 3/4oz dried orzo or other small pasta
- 3 broccoli florets, cut into small pieces, plus extra, steamed until very tender, to serve
- 30g/ 1oz frozen petits pois
- 1/2 teaspoon snipped chives
- 1 tablespoon cream cheese
- 3-4 tablespoons baby's usual milk
Method


- Cook the pasta in a saucepan of boiling water for 3 minutes, then add the broccoli and petits pois and cook for a further 4-5 minutes until everything is tender. Drain, reserving the cooking water
- Return the pasta, vegetables and 2 tablespoons of the reserved cooking water to the pan. Add the chives, cream cheese and 3 tablespoons of the milk and warm through slightly
- Using the back of the fork, mash the pasta and veg mixture, making sure you crush the peits pois well until smooth, adding the remaining milk if needed
- Alternatively, puree using a mini food processor or hand blender. Serve in bowls with extra steamed broccoli florets as finger food
