Change is coming
At Ella's we put little ones at the heart of everything we do and sometimes this means making changes to our existing products. We understand this can upset little + bigger ones who love our products just the way they are, but we never make these decisions lightly + we always always try and do what’s best for little ones.
Take a look below to see if your little ones faves are due any upcoming changes to their packaging + recipes. We try to keep this list as up to date as possible, so check back here for updates.
We know change is never easy and we hope that this will help reassure you + your little ones so it's not a surprise when you see these changes at home. We’re on hand to support you as much as we can so get in touch with our customer care team if you’d like to talk through any concerns you might have.
Recyclable packaging
As part of our mission to create a healthier world for little ones, we are in the process of transitioning to a more sustainable packaging across all our ranges, this means that the packaging will look a little different + the spout will be clear rather than coloured. The exciting news is they can now go into your recycling bin at home!
You should start to see these new recyclable pouches on shelves across all our fruity faves such as smoothie fruits, baby rice + yogurts, as well as our 3+ squishy snack ranges.
Say goodbye to our porridge and muesli
We’re saying goodbye to our Strawberry + Raspberry Porridge and Banana + Cinnamon Museli products, which will be leaving our brekkie range soon. We always want to make sure our baby food is of the highest quality, and we feel like these products didn’t quite hit the mark.
The yellow one recipe change
We have always wanted little ones to experience exciting fruit tastes. Our smoothies include hard-to-find fruits that might not always be easy for parents and carers to buy in-store. Passion fruit has become increasingly tricky to find as only a few farmers grow within the safety guidelines we require to be best for baby. By choosing to use pineapple, we have ensured our new ingredient compliments the colour and recipe of our iconic smoothie fruit, as well as being just right for your little one.
Yogurts packaging change
We've made some important updates to our yogurt packaging but we're still offering the same deeelicious taste!
We're now using a new material for our pouches which means they are now fully recyclable at home. Just pop them in your normal recycling bin with their cap on.
You may also notice a QR code on the back of pack which will make it easier to sign up to Ella's Friends programme and find more of our tasty recipes on our website.
We've also included the range name for our yogurts ‘fruity faves’ along the top of the front of pack to help you find our pouches more easily in store.
10 months packaging change + improved recipe
We've made changes to ingredients in our 10months+ range baby food to make them eveeen tastier by improving overall texture and taste for your little one.
In some pouches we've added ingredients to improve texture and in others we have added herbs to improve flavour or replaced some veggies with different ones to make the overall taste deeelicious.
We've also updated the look of our packaging with clearer messaging to help you find the baby meal that's just right for your little one's growing development. You'll find at the very top the age, texture and range name that helps you spot recipes that are either 'taste explorers' or those staple 'everyday faves' to keep little ones' taste buds tingling.
Say goodbye to The Very Hungry Caterpillar™ range
We're saying goodbye to the Very Hungry Caterpillar™ range, and as a result, some of these snacks will be leaving us. But don’t worry! Our Cheese Mini Puffs and Sweet Potato Melty Hoops will still be available – they’ll just have a fresh new look, without the Very Hungry Caterpillar™ packaging!
